Pricing
Volunteer trips are scheduled monthly from February through November of each year. The recommended length of stay is two weeks. A maximum number of 6 volunteers will be accepted per month. We also welcome couples, families, friends and church groups. If the group exceeds 6 people, please contact us directly for group pricing and available dates. All inclusive pricing for two week stay: $1250 ($200 due upon acceptance of application; the balance is due 30 days before your departure date.)
We cannot accept volunteers under the age of 18 unless accompanied by their own parent or guardian. Stated prices are subject to change without notice.
Program Fee Includes
- Airport pickup and drop off.
- Full room & board at the Courage Compound or a local hotel. This includes 3 meals a day. All beds are covered with a mosquito net. You will also be provided with a towel, fresh linens and toiletries upon arrival and will have the use of indoor toilets/bathrooms. Hot water is available on most days while in Moshi.
- Assigned a daily project that utilizes your unique gifts, passions, interests and experience.
- All project supplies.
- All transportation cost. Gasoline prices average $8 a liter in Africa so volunteers can expect to walk when and where it is safe and feasible.
- 24 hour access to C2BU volunteer staff.
- Local guide & translators.
- Daily life coaching/journaling sessions to process the volunteer experience.
- Local language and cultural training
- 24 hour guards on duty at the property
Program Fee Does Not Includes
- Air travel or travel arrangements.
- Personal travel insurance but we highly recommend it.
- Any personal items.
- Email/Internet and telephone calls but internet access is available while in Moshi.
- Visas for country entry or border crossings.
- Additional excursions over and above your planned itinerary; however we can recommend local travel agents for safaris or other tourist attractions.
