Volunteers

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Courage to Be You, chose the abandoned, orphaned children in Africa to provide rescue and resource programs to because of one woman's passion; one woman's purpose, Theresa Grant. When one person says “yes” to God, it truly opens the door for others to follow. Theresa sold everything she owned in 2005, to follow the dream God put in her heart to make a difference in the lives of these forgotten, invisible, vulnerable children (see her entire story under Awards). Theresa has now started her own organization “Make A Difference Now” that brings volunteers from around the world to assist an orphanage in Tanzania, Africa to become self-sufficient instead of donation dependent as well as providing a private school education to the orphans living there.
